Our commitment

Dojoism is a solo indie developer. We build apps for ourselves and people like us — people who want tools that work without surveillance. Privacy isn't a feature we added. It's a constraint we design around from the start.

This page describes our overall privacy philosophy. Each app also has its own specific privacy policy linked from its App Store page and its page on this website.

What we collect

Each Dojoism app collects only the data it needs to function. That data is stored on your device. We do not operate any server that stores your personal information. We have never sold user data and never will.

Across all Dojoism apps, the types of data we may collect include:

• Data you enter directly into the app (measurements, tasks, notes, diary entries, subscriptions)
• App usage data, only if you explicitly opt in to analytics

We do not collect: your name, email address, location, contacts, browsing history, or any data not directly relevant to the app's function.

On-device storage

All Dojoism apps store data locally on your device using iOS's standard encrypted storage. We do not run backend servers that receive your app data. When you delete the app, your data is deleted.

iCloud sync

Some Dojoism apps support optional iCloud sync. When enabled, your data is synced through Apple's encrypted CloudKit infrastructure. Dojoism cannot read or access any data stored in your iCloud account. Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud data is handled.

Third-party services

Dojoism apps do not include advertising SDKs, social media trackers, or third-party behavioral analytics. If an app includes optional anonymous crash reporting or analytics, this is clearly disclosed in the app's specific privacy policy and requires your opt-in.

Children's privacy

None of our apps are directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@dojoism.com.

Your rights

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control at all times. To delete your data: delete the app. To export your data: use the export function within the app (available in most Dojoism apps). For any privacy requests or questions, contact us at support@dojoism.com.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via an in-app message on next launch.
